Paul & Kelly
Hello! We are Kelly and Paul, and we are so grateful for the chance to introduce ourselves. We have dreamed of becoming parents for years and are excited to share our love, laughter, and home with a child. Our life is filled with adventurous weekends, cozy Sunday dinners, and a community of friends and family who are eagerly awaiting to welcome a new little one.
What it Means to be a Parent

We are so excited and would be honored to become parents. We have waited a long time for this opportunity and couldn't be more ready to share our life with a little one. Our greatest hope is to provide a child with a home filled with laughter, unconditional love, and a life full of experiences that they will cherish and enjoy. To us, parenting means offering a safe, nurturing foundation where a child feels completely free to explore their interests, discover their passions, and be themselves. We look forward to the everyday magic of reading bedtime stories, celebrating milestones, and exploring the world together. Our home is a place of warmth and security, backed by an incredibly supportive community of family and friends who are just as eager as we are to welcome a new member. We are ready for every step of this journey and are committed to giving a child a lifetime of happiness, security, and love.
Our hope is to provide a child with all of the stories, photos, and information we have to share with them about their adoption from day one. Adoption is a beautiful part of their story, and we want it to be something they feel immensely proud of as they grow. We are committed to making sure they know how much they are loved, how chosen they are, and how much we honor the journey that brought us together. Our home will always be a safe space for them to explore their identity, ask questions, and celebrate every single piece of who they are.
Cultural Diversity
While we ourselves are Caucasian, our family is beautifully diverse. Paul grew up with an adopted sister from South Korea, and his biological sister is married to an African American man. Because of this, our family already has a wealth of multicultural experiences, heritage, and knowledge to share. Both of us also have a wonderful, large circle of culturally diverse friends whom we love deeply and can lean on for advice and guidance when needed.
We fully understand that acknowledging, honoring, and celebrating a child’s unique culture and background is incredibly important. We want to provide a child with experiences that keep them deeply connected to their roots, including books, toys, diverse community events, and cultural traditions. Our home will always be a place where their identity is uplifted, and we are committed to surrounding them with role models who reflect who they are. We want them to grow up feeling proud of their heritage, fully supported by a family that embraces diversity in every way.
Pets

Our dog Loki is truly the light of our lives, constantly filling our home with endless joy, comfort, and laughter. As a gentle, loving, and energetic husky, he has a big personality and an even bigger heart. We look forward to our walks with him each evening, where he proudly serves as the official socialite of our neighborhood. Everyone knows Loki by name, and his tail starts wagging the moment he sees the neighborhood kids running over to pet and play with him. He is incredibly patient and gentle whenever children are around. Having Loki in our lives has taught us so much about patience, unconditional love, and the beauty of slowing down to enjoy life's simple moments. Because he is so incredibly social, he is our absolute favorite companion on all of our weekend adventures. We frequently take him along to explore new hiking trails, relax at pet-friendly patio restaurants, and run around at local dog parks. He is a massive part of our family, and we know he cannot wait to have a human sibling to watch over, protect, and play with someday.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a suburban neighborhood in Kansas. Our neighborhood is new and small but there are a lot of families with little and school aged kids that live near us. We have a community pool, a pickleball court, walking trails and ponds to fish in. We love taking our dog on a walk on the bike path and trails near our home. The community that we reside in is wonderful and supportive. The school district is ranked in the top 5 school districts in Kansas. Our town has an annual festival in the fall that we enjoy going to. There are also other local festivals throughout the summer that we enjoy attending, as well as the state fair.

Our home is a ranch style home with a finished basement. It has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. One of our bedrooms we converted into a game room. Paul loves to play pinball and arcade style games. The main floor of our home has an open concept. Kelly loves this aspect because she loves to talk to people while she cooks. Our backyard is great for entertaining. We love to grill, eat on the back patio and spend our evenings listening to music and sitting by our fire pit.
Our Extended Families

We love spending time with our family and friends. We frequently host game nights, family gatherings and holidays. Both of our families do not live near us, but we do find time throughout the year to see each family several times. Kelly's family takes an annual ski trip to the mountains. Paul's family gathers together over a summer vacation or a holiday.

Spending time and making memories with our nieces and nephews is important to us. We Facetime with our families four to five times a week to stay connected. Our family is so excited to welcome a new little one into our family. They cannot wait to shower this child with love and endless affection. Our siblings are thrilled to introduce a new cousin to the family. Though we live a distance apart, our family’s bond is incredibly tight. We know this child will grow up surrounded by a massive, supportive cheering section. Everyone is completely on board with our adoption plan and counts down the days until we can all celebrate together.
From Us to You

Dear Expectant Parent,
We want to start by thanking you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our letter and get to know a little bit about us. We can only imagine the weight of the decisions you are making, and we hold so much respect and admiration for your strength, courage, and unconditional love.
Hello! We are Paul and Kelly, and we live in a warm, family-oriented neighborhood in Kansas. We have been happily married for four years, and we love simply doing life together. Our marriage is built on deep friendship, communication, and laughter. We make sure to prioritize each other every day, and we are so ready to welcome a child into this loving foundation.
Our home is already filled with a lot of love, especially from our Siberian Husky, Loki. He is the sweetest, most gentle boy who absolutely loves everyone he meets. We enjoy taking him on walks through our neighborhood, visiting the dog park, and stopping by dog-friendly spots around town. He is going to make an incredibly loyal best friend for a child.
Traveling is a passion we both share, and we look forward to all the adventures the future holds. It is our dream to share this love of exploration with a child, showing them the beauty of the world through trips across the United States and abroad. Some of our favorite memories happen in the winter during our annual ski trip with Kelly’s family. We love skiing all day and eating lunch on the mountainside, surrounded by snow-covered Aspen Pines. Lately, the best part has been watching our niece and nephews learn how to ski. Every evening is spent playing board games, sipping hot chocolate, and laughing together. We cannot wait to bring a child into this tradition and teach them how to ski.
Family is the center of our lives. We both love to cook and prepare meals together, and we make it a priority to sit down at the table for dinner every night. This is our dedicated time to connect, share stories about our day, and simply enjoy being together. We look forward to the day when there is a little seat at our table, listening to a child tell us about their day.
We are also big sports fans! Kelly roots for the Cincinnati Bengals, and Paul is loyal to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once a season, we travel to watch a live NFL game to soak in the electric energy. Because we both grew up playing sports, we would love to instill that same active spirit in a child. We can already picture ourselves cheering loudly from the sidelines at ball fields and auditoriums. It is our dream to help coach their teams and support them every step of the way.
More than anything, we promise to honor you in our home. We promise to send you regular letters and pictures so you can watch your child grow and thrive. We are also very open to a deeper connection whether through emails or phone calls as the years go on. We want to build a relationship that feels comfortable and supportive for you. You will always hold a sacred place in our family's story.
With love and respect,
Paul & Kelly
